How to make a Solderless Two Tone Band Machine the center band on a cnc lathe (or cnc mill w/boring bar - which I make and sell) and Cut the Design Size 9.5    Od 23.2mm    ID 21.6mm (0.8mm thick) Machine the inside band (for a 1.8mm thick ring) OD 21.6mm    ID 18.0mm and cut the slot 5.6mm wide x 0.8mm deep What you want is a tight sliding fit of the two pieces The thicker you make the center band the more you will have to stretch the inside band So you will want to make the center band rather thin.... I can cast 0.3mm metal sections.... some of the time.... The inner band should have a loose sliding fit with the slot Ring Castings     Finished Ring
