My first exposure to computers was in the summer of 1966 at Oberlin College.
It was summer math class for high school kids.
I rode my bike 10 miles (each way) to take the class.
I received a BSME from Ohio Northern University, Ada Ohio in 1971.
Bought a casting machine in 1973 and started making jewelry.
Very crude jewelry....
It was a start.
In 1976 moved to Utah and began working as a jeweler.
Thirty years later moved back to Ohio - still making jewelry.
Along the way I wrote a mill program (which I use every day)
created special tooling to hold wax models,
spindles for machining the inside of rings,
and lots of custom software routines.
Blender and python scripts have taken up a lot of
my free time for the last year.
This is what happens when you're cutting aluminum
at a fairly high rate of speed
with a 3/8" end mill and
the mist lubercation runs out.
This page will list cnc related products I have for sale.
